Kandace Cade, LMFT-Assosiate

Are you a chronic over-thinker who spends most of their time trying to sort through thoughts, or turn them off altogether? Are you a deeply sensitive “feeler” who often feels overwhelmed with emotions and needs support to manage it all?

Sometimes, life circumstances, along with our past experiences can overwhelm us and leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally. Are you the strong friend, or sibling? While you are holding space for everyone else, do YOU have a soft place to land and sort through the past and present of your story? If not, I am here to help!

My name is Kandace Cade, and I am passionate about working with adult individuals, couples and families in need of a non-judgmental space to hold the hardest parts of their stories. I have experience working with Black women, and men who want to explore the intersections of their identity while becoming a more grounded, and authentic version of themselves within their relationships.

I collaborate with my clients to hold a trauma-informed space for healing and liberation in the context of interpersonal and familial relationships through self-compassion, boundaries work, and self-differentiation. I support those challenged by anxiety, depression, issues related to racial stress, and family of origin trauma by utilizing an integrated approach of Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), attachment based neuroscience, Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work and somatic based approaches to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs.
