My name is Tajah, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. You can also call me Taj! I’m originally from Los Angeles, CA, and have been in Dallas for 4 years now. Moving from a fast-paced, diverse city like LA to Dallas has given me a unique perspective on intersectionality and adapting to change, both personally and professionally. This transition deepened my understanding of how culture, identity, and environment influence our mental health and relationships. With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, I combine evidence-based techniques with compassion to help individuals transform their lives. I specialize in empowering people to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, and imposter syndrome.
I have worked as a school social worker for four years, building strong connections with my scholars and fostering a space so welcoming that they often don’t want to leave my office. I bring that same warmth, empathy, and dedication to my work with clients today. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel heard, valued, and inspired to grow. I strive to be relatable and bring a relaxed, down-to-earth approach to our work together, so you feel comfortable every step of the way.
Life can be messy, but like Issa Rae says, we’re all just trying to figure it out—and the truth is, you already have everything you need inside you to thrive. I’m here to help you uncover your strength, overcome the hard stuff, and create a life you’re proud of.
